WATER SERVICE OUTAGE:

UPDATE: 8:30PM

BMID crews have completed their works and expect that most properties affected should have water now and full pressure is expected to return by 9pm. 

If you notice your water is cloudy or has sediment, it is recommended that you run your cold water tap in your bath tub until the water runs clear.

UPDATE: 1PM

The area affected has been updated to include Traut Rd and Black Mountain Elementary. 

Please note that the new time to have service returned is appoximately 9pm Tuesday April 7th, 2026.

ORIGINAL: 11AM

BMID Crews are currently working on preventing a potential water main break in the Black Mountain area. To perform this work, a section of watermain must be shut down, pausing service to appromiately 23 properties. This shut down will occur between 11am and 6pm on Tuesday 7th, 2026 for an unknown amount of time. BMID crews are estimating that water service will be renewed by 6pm. 

BMID appreciates the patience and understanding that the public has during these shutdowns.
